Russian Military Echelon Arrives In Brest

The purpose of the transfer of Russian troops to the border of Belarus with Poland and Ukraine has been named.

A military train from Russia has arrived in Brest. It delivered the contingent of the Russian Federation that will take part in exercises under the aegis of the CSTO.

"A train with a military contingent of the Russian Federation arrived in Brest to participate in a joint exercise with the CSTO FDRC "Interaction-2023" on the territory of Belarus," the Defence Ministry reported.

The "Combat Brotherhood 2023" exercise, of which "Interaction" is a part, will be held in Belarus from 1 to 6 September.
