The fuel crisis has reached a new level.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the sale of fuel at gas stations has been completely suspended since June 21 —whether by cash, bank transfer, or vouchers.

According to Charter97.org, this was announced by the Gauleiter of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov.

According to him, sales are being suspended for both individuals and legal entities.

Fuel will be supplied only to government agencies ensuring the functioning and security of Crimea.

“Further decisions regarding the situation on the republic’s fuel market will be announced at a later date,” Aksenov added.

In addition, according to “Krymenergo,” rolling blackouts have been introduced in Crimea. Part of the peninsula is without power. Online reports indicate that the power went out after explosions.

As a reminder, fuel shortages in Crimea began due to intensified attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Crimea–Donetsk corridor, which is a major logistics route.
