Belarusbank Imposes Restrictions On Certain Customers

They concern payment cards.

"Belarusbank announced that it will introduce minimum amounts for some transactions with payment cards. The change will be effective from 5 February.

According to the financial institution's website, from 5 February the bank will set the minimum amount for some transactions with cards. It will be 1 Belarusian ruble, dollar, euro, Russian ruble or yuan. Such limits will be set for transactions with Belarusbank cards in the devices of other financial institutions. They are:

- transfer of money from the account to which the bank card is issued;

- crediting money transferred from abroad to the account to which the bank card is issued.

At the same time, account holders were allowed to independently set some restrictions at the bank branch:

- on debit transactions on additional cards issued to Zebra Club customers;

- purchase transactions with cash withdrawals on additional cards issued for student card services and Zebra customers, as well as on the bank's international corporate cards.
