Details.
Some units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front are already testing pilot projects of drones with artificial intelligence. This was announced by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vadym Sukharevsky, on February 21 during a briefing held at the Military Media Center.
Sukharevsky confirmed the information to Bloomberg, which recently wrote that the UK and other countries will arm Ukraine with the latest drones with artificial intelligence.
“There are such attempts, there are systems. I want to say that this is a very complex process in terms of implementation and implementation — the use of these drones precisely at the front, during combat use. There are nuances,” the colonel said.
He noted that we still need to learn to distinguish a real image from the one created by artificial intelligence.
“For example, how do we distinguish an AI picture from the real thing? By the number of fingers in the picture and the like. This number of “fingers” is exactly the point that we will need to implement at the front. This work is ongoing, some pilot projects are being tested by individual units at the front. Therefore, I believe in the near future of development of this area,” explained the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
