Ukrainian Troops Enters Belovsky District Of Kursk Region

Local authorities made an urgent video appeal from the central square.

The head of the Belovsky District of the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Volobuyev, announced "Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups" in the region. He recorded a video on the central square in the administrative center of the Belovsky District - the settlement of Belov.

"Unfortunately, the events that occurred yesterday with the entry of sabotage and reconnaissance groups into our territory created a lot of confusion and panic. At present, the situation is stable, but very tense. Today, we do not understand some things in the border areas. Therefore, I ask all residents to remain calm and not to panic. Those residents who left the territory of the Belovsky District today, I ask you to stay in the places where they arrived," he said.

He recommended that those who want to leave the territory contact the local authorities, who will take them to temporary accommodation points.

Earlier, the Charter97.org website reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had broken through in another direction in the Kursk region and were moving towards the Belovsky district.
