Maduro Claims It’s ‘Coup D'État’

The usurper is expecting it to happen today.

Self-proclaimed Venezuelan ruler Nicolas Maduro said that the opposition is allegedly “preparing a terrorist attack in Caracas” and plans to carry it out on Saturday, August 3.

He said this during a press conference, Bloomberg reports.

He said that some “mercenary groups” armed with grenades are planning to detonate in the Belo Monte area, a Caracas neighborhood located opposite Las Mercedes, where the head of the anti-Maduro campaign called for a peaceful demonstration at 10:00.

Maduro said that the terrorist attacks could be carried out by “small teams” on the orders of Machado and with the complicity of opposition presidential candidate Edmund Gonzalez.

He also accused them of “attempting a coup d'état under the leadership of the United States”.
