The meeting of Ukrainian and US Presidents Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump in Washington on October 17 may take place around 20:00 Minsk time.

According to "European Pravda", such data is provided by the American portal Roll Call, which specializes in the activities of the government in the United States and tracks, among other things, the presidential schedule.

According to the portal, the meeting between Trump and Zelensky is scheduled for 1 p.m. Washington, D.C. (8 p.m. Minsk), and its beginning will be open to the press.

After 15 minutes, their talks in the format of a "bilateral lunch" will begin.

At 3 p.m., according to this schedule, Trump should already be flying to Florida.

Vladimir Zelensky arrived in Washington the day before, on October 16, and held a series of meetings with representatives of U.S. defense companies, including the manufacturer of the Patriot SAM system.

From his meeting with Trump, he expressed the expectation that "the momentum to curb terror and war that has worked in the Middle East will help end Russia's war against Ukraine."

Reminder, Trump spoke with Russian ruler Vladimir Putin on Oct. 16 for the first time in nearly two months, after which he announced they were planning to meet in Budapest - which would be Putin's first appearance in the capital of an EU member state in years of all-out war and requires him to fly over the territory of other member states.
