And he explained where he'd been.

US President Donald Trump said he had not heard about conspiracy theories about his own death that circulated on the Internet over the weekend, CNN reports.

"No, I was actually very active over the weekend, and I didn't hear anything serious," Trump said at a Sept. 2 press conference.

He said he was only aware of conversations regarding his well-being, but not rumors of death.

"I heard people saying, 'Is he okay? How is he feeling? What happened?" - Trump noted.

The politician explained that he spent the Labor Day weekend (the holiday was celebrated in the United States on September 1) actively: he went to his golf course in Virginia every day and even managed to give one interview.

Trump also recalled his lengthy public events last week, including his cabinet meeting, which lasted more than three hours.

"I had several press conferences last week - all successful, all went very well, like this one. And then I didn't go to the press for two days, and immediately they started saying, 'There's something wrong with him.'" Biden (ex-President of the United States. - Editor's note), by the way, could not hold them for months," he added.

Reminder, last weekend the Internet was filled with rumors about Trump's death because he did not appear in public for a long time.

Many also paid attention to the recent interview of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance with USA Today, which was published on August 27. Responding to a question, the vice president said he was ready to lead the country in the event of a "terrible tragedy," but hinted at the White House chief executive's good health.
