Only Whitcoff will represent the U.S.

Jared Kushner will not personally participate in the consultations this time, as reported on social media X Axios correspondent Barack Ravid.
According to Ravid, the U.S. president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has come down with the flu, so he will not fly to Oslo for talks with Zelenskyy and European representatives, but plans to participate in the consultations remotely.

Ravid’s source claims that following consultations in Oslo, Whitcoff will travel to Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin. Special Representative of Donald Trump will present to the Kremlin leader proposals to end Russia’s war against Ukraine, developed by the U.S. in collaboration with Ukrainian and European parties. The details of these proposals remain confidential for now.
According to Ravid’s insider information, over the past week, representatives from the U.S., Ukraine, and European countries have been actively working at the technical level to prepare these proposals.
On October 18, Whitcoff and Kushner held a phone call with Zelenskyy to “assess the progress made and discuss next steps.”
