In the Russian city of Kaluga, located about 180 km from Moscow, local residents are reporting a series of explosions. Footage that has been published shows that local air defense forces fired on houses instead of shooting down drones.
According to witnesses, “strange” explosions were heard in the city center and its surroundings, and drones could be heard flying overhead. Footage from the scene of the local air defense “operation” was published by the monitoring group Exilenova+.

“Debris in Kaluga after air defense operations,” the post reads.
Exilenova+ published photos and videos from Russians who were caught in an attack by local air defense systems. The footage shows that the UAV explosions shattered windows and damaged the balconies of local residents.
At this time, it remains unknown exactly which facility in Kaluga was struck. This regional center is home to several dozen enterprises of various types that the aggressor country could use for military purposes.
