Five Russian drones and missiles fell within the country's borders.

During Russia’s attack on Ukraine on October 3, five Russian aircraft violated Moldova’s airspace, and debris fell on its territory. According to Politico, the country’s authorities reacted sharply to this incident, and the Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador.

“This war is dangerously approaching Moldova. Russian aerial weapons, including missiles and drones, violated our airspace and exploded on our soil,” said Moldovan President Maia Sandu.

It is reported that between 7:45 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., a total of three missiles and two drones flew over the country; their debris was subsequently found in the eastern regions of Moldova—Hîncești, Anenii Noi, and Căușeni. Police were dispatched to the scene to ensure safety in the area where the debris fell; The incident caused a fire, but there were no casualties.

Also, according to zdg.md, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Russian ambassador in Chisinau Oleg Ozerov and handed him a note of protest

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the seriousness of the incident, which endangered the lives and safety of citizens and also led to fires and property damage. The Ministry calls on the Russian Federation to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova and to prevent the recurrence of such incidents,” the statement reads.
