Ukrainian Soldiers Destroyed Rare Russian Military Equipment

For the first time since the full-scale war began.

For the first time since the start of the full-scale war, fighters from the 3rd Assault Brigade destroyed a rare piece of Russian military equipment—the transport and loading vehicle for the Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile system.

The unit reported this on its social media accounts on Tuesday, October 6.

“Soldiers from the 3rd Assault Brigade’s Unmanned Systems Battalion tracked down and destroyed a transport-loading vehicle carrying a warhead load of anti-aircraft guided missiles intended to reload the Buk-M3 air defense system. This was the only confirmed instance of such a vehicle being destroyed,” the military noted.

The strike was carried out by operators from the Skyfom platoon’s strike wing company on the front lines of the 3rd Army Corps.
