The Ukrainian Armed Forces Struck A Group Of Russians At The Donetsk Airport Just Before The Launch Of A "Shahed" Drone

The Ukrainian branch of Cursed Empire has published a video of a strike against Russian military personnel at a drone launch site at Donetsk Airport.

At the time of the attack, the Russians were taking photos next to the vehicle they were using to launch a jet-powered drone. There were three Russian soldiers at the site—all of them were killed.


The group was standing near a pickup truck; one of them was sitting on an ATV. The vehicle was intended to accelerate the drone before takeoff. The occupiers did not react to the approaching Ukrainian drone until the very last seconds—they continued taking photos and made no attempt to take cover.

The strike hit the launch preparation area; the footage shows twilight and the airfield’s runway.

Occupation forces have turned the destroyed Donetsk Airport into a large-scale forward base for training and launching attack drones. According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and satellite intelligence data, the invaders dismantled part of the old defensive structures, set up ammunition depots, fuel storage areas, and built more than 130 special shelters for Shahed-type drones, “Gerbera” drones, and their jet-powered variants.
