Nearly 1,800 Drones And Missiles: Moscow Claims Ukraine Launched A Record-breaking Attack Since The Start Of The War

There has never been a blow of this magnitude before.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine may have deployed a record number of drones and missiles against Russia since the start of the full-scale war. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russian air defense forces allegedly intercepted 1,750 aircraft-type drones and 17 “Flamingo” cruise missiles, reports Dialog.UA.

The occupiers also reported the destruction of two guided bombs and a HIMARS rocket.

The previous reported record for the number of Ukrainian drones was set on August 18, when Russian authorities reported 1,671 drones over 15 regions, occupied Crimea, as well as the Azov and Black Seas.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of October 6, 11 regions of the Russian Federation, Crimea, and targets in the Azov Sea came under attack.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported that approximately 650 drones were flying toward the capital, 105 of which were allegedly destroyed as they approached the city.

He later announced that another 68 drones had been intercepted. The governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov, reported that 185 UAVs had been destroyed overnight in 16 municipalities.
