MTZ And MAZ Are Recruiting Russians And Chinese

There is a shortage of hundreds of specialists.
An employee of the Minsk Tractor Plant shared details with the "Basta!" Telegram channel:
“We’re short at least a thousand specialists of various levels,” he said. “Management posts hundreds of job openings on Belarusian websites like praca.by. But that’s not all we need. They’re recruiting from specialized educational institutions and even hiring students who haven’t yet graduated and are still in school. This is already affecting quality. Inspections by the Ministry of Industry have uncovered a host of defects in new tractors. Some are due to cheap Chinese parts—for example, on the “Belarus” 3500 series tractors—but there are also plenty caused by the negligence of low-skilled ‘specialists.’
The plant’s management understands that it’s impossible to find workers in Belarus, and besides, the pay isn’t exactly decent. Job openings are posted on websites in nearby Russian regions. We already have workers from Smolensk and Bryansk on our production floors. An acquaintance from the HR department also mentioned that there was an official request to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs asking for help in finding highly qualified specialists in China. They will be offered higher salaries than Belarusians with similar qualifications.
“I know that the situation at MAZ is similar—they’re also short about a thousand workers.”
As a reminder, earlier reports had emerged stating that the website of Pakistan’s government Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment lists 332 job openings in Belarus. Over the course of two months, their number increased 6.1-fold.
