Kyiv is waiting for Moscow's approval.

Ukraine is ready to work on solutions to achieve peace and is exploring five different ceasefire formats with its partners.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Georgy Tikhiy at a briefing, according to a correspondent RBC-Ukraine correspondent.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that these involve five different formats previously mentioned by Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

These are proposals developed with the participation of Ukrainian diplomats; they are realistic and mutually beneficial.

Ukraine is working on five main areas:

A full and unconditional ceasefire. A general ceasefire, to which Ukraine agreed back in March 2025. This agreement remains in force and awaits a reciprocal decision from the Russian Federation.

The Black Sea format. Proposals for maritime safety in the Black Sea, which are being developed jointly with Turkey and Egypt.

Food security in the Black Sea. A decision to maintain and protect food exports with India’s active involvement.

The energy track via India. A ceasefire and an end to attacks specifically on energy infrastructure, on which the Indian side is actively working.

The U.S. track of the energy ceasefire. Efforts to establish a ceasefire in the energy sector with U.S. participation, which were discussed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump.

“It takes two to tango, so we need the Russian side’s agreement on these terms. In our view, the proposals are mutually beneficial and realistic,” Tikhiy emphasized.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges the public to carefully evaluate statements about the peace process and not to succumb to manipulative accusations.

“It seems to me that this is simply cynicism and an exploitation of people’s fatigue for cynical political purposes to score political points. The attempt to shift the blame for the continuation of the war from Moscow to Kyiv is manipulation,” the Foreign Ministry spokesperson noted.

As a reminder, the Kremlin previously stated that India is ready to fully engage in resolving the war against Ukraine and will make a “meaningful contribution” to this process.

At the same time, New Delhi is stepping up its role in diplomatic efforts.
