UAVs struck a strategic facility.
On the night of Friday, October 9, the Redkino Experimental Plant in the village of Redkino, Tver Region, was attacked in the Russian Federation.
This was reported by Dialog.UA citing the monitoring channel Exilenova+, which published footage of the attack from the scene. In videos posted by eyewitnesses, the sounds of drones flying can be heard, and one of the people filming says that a drone crashed into the factory.

The plant produces components for “Decilin-M” fuel, which is used in the “Kh-55” and “Kh-101” cruise missiles.
In addition, the plant produces additives for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene. The Redkinsky Experimental Plant is part of the Russian military-industrial complex’s production chain.
Its products are used to supply chemicals to the aggressor nation’s missile and aviation industries. There is currently no information available on the extent of the damage to the facility or the full consequences of the attack. However, it is known that the facility was last attacked in February 2026.

This is the second strike on the plant in 2026 alone. In February, SBU drones had already struck the facility. According to sources, even temporarily taking the facility out of commission could reduce the frequency of missile strikes on Ukrainian territory.
It first flew over the plant in September 2023. At that time, the drone crashed onto the grounds of a warehouse leased by the company “Spetsnefteprodukt” from the plant and exploded. As a result of the explosion, one empty tank was damaged, and windows in a neighboring building were shattered.
On June 27, 2024, Tver media reported on a new attempt to attack the plant. According to journalists, one of the drones crashed onto the roof of Workshop No. 4, after which it exploded. A second drone was shot down by air defense forces, after which it also crashed near the workshop and exploded a few minutes later. A third drone attempted to attack the plant’s flammable liquids storage area. As a result of the attack, a pipeline was damaged and a fire broke out. A fourth drone flew into the plant’s territory two hours later and also crashed near Workshop No. 4. The plant’s personnel were evacuated.
