"Bermuda Triangle" Near Gulyaypol: Ukrainian Border Guards Spent 54 Days Destroying The Enemy In Encirclement

The Russian attack aircraft did not even realize where they were being fired from.

Border guards of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky detachment for more than eight weeks in complete encirclement held off Russian assaults and eliminated the enemy.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports.

It is about Gulyaypol direction, where during this time Russian troops tried dozens of times to break through the defense, using artillery and assault groups, but without success.

By the way, the Ukrainian defenders acted so secretly that the Russian attackers did not even understand where they were being fired from. Therefore, the fighters themselves jokingly nicknamed the section of the front "Bermuda triangle".

"The liquidated occupants were dragged right into the trenches, so as not to give away their positions. The Russians were walking nearby, their speech could be heard, but they did not understand where their soldiers were going," says a border guard under the pseudonym Dendi.

Survival on the edge

54 days of continuous fighting.

Full encirclement: no stable supply and evacuation.

Extreme conditions: snow, freezing temperatures and chronic sleep deprivation.

Despite their own injuries, the Dendy and Toronto border guards not only held their positions, but rescued a severely wounded fellow AFU man. They applied tourniquets, rendered aid and were able to make the most difficult exit from the enemy ring.

This story is not just a combat report, but a symbol of indestructibility when discipline and mutual support prove stronger than superior enemy forces.

The situation in the Gulyaypol direction

As of now, the Gulyaypol direction remains one of the most tense sections of the front in southeastern Ukraine. According to various sources, the situation is characterized by the following:

The fighting continues daily, with a large number of clashes between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops. Russian forces are actively using artillery and assaults near Gulyaypol, Pryluky, Zeleny and a number of other settlements in this direction.

Battles are being fought for every block and every house, because the front line here does not follow the traditional "row" pattern, but has the character of a "gray zone" where control over individual points can be unstable.
