The Ukrainian Armed Forces are sending a message to the Russian military.

The Crimean Bridge has not yet been destroyed in order to allow civilians and military personnel to leave Crimea, so that Russian soldiers would not have to be hunted down in the mountains of the peninsula. This was stated by military expert Kirill Sazonov on the “News Factory” program.

First and foremost, we’re interested in getting the civilians out so they don’t get stuck there,” he said.

Furthermore, according to Sazonov, we’re interested in having the military leave the area, since hunting them down in Crimea, in the mountains, could be a very long and difficult process.

“So it’s better if they leave. It seems to me that this is precisely why the bridge has been left standing for now. After all, we could tear it down,” he said.
