Zelenskyy Sparked Curiosity With His Statement On Crimea

The President of Ukraine stated that the operation on the peninsula was “carefully planned.”

If Ukraine achieves what it discussed with its partners at the G7 summit, conditions will be created that will force Russia to choose peace.

The head of state emphasized that Ukraine’s operation in Crimea is “carefully planned.”

“And the way the operation is proceeding clearly proves: if Ukraine receives exactly what we discussed with our partners within the G7—and this depends on our partners’ decision—we will promptly create the conditions under which Russia will be forced to choose peace,” he said.

Zelenskyy emphasized that Kyiv is “counting heavily” on a positive response from Ukraine’s partners. He added that they “know exactly” what is at stake.
