Russia's International Reserves Shrank By $5.1 Bln Over The Week

The Bank of Russia gave the reason.
Russia's international reserves for the week, from May 22 to May 29, decreased by $5.1 billion, according to the Bank of Russia.
According to the Central Bank of Russia, as of May 29, the size of international reserves amounted to $748.7 billion. On May 22, there was $753.8 billion in Russia's international reserves. The 0.7% decrease was mainly due to negative revaluation, according to the Bank of Russia.
International reserves are highly liquid financial assets of the Bank of Russia and the Russian government. They include foreign currency, monetary gold, special drawing rights (SDRs), reserve position in the IMF and other reserve assets.
