The Ukrainian Ministry Of Defense Has Summarized The Results Of Its Long-range Strikes In June

The attacks have targeted key facilities of the occupying forces from Crimea to Siberia.

On July 1, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense summarized the results of successful long-range strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russian targets carried out throughout June.

The ministry noted that the strikes targeted key Russian facilities ranging from the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Krasnodar Krai to Western Siberia. The strikes by Ukrainian defense forces were aimed at depriving the enemy of resources necessary to wage war, specifically fuel, communications equipment, and the production of weapons and their components. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense assessed the enemy’s losses in June as a result of Ukrainian deep strikes as “significant.” Ukrainian Armed Forces units struck dozens of oil, gas, and fuel logistics facilities, military-industrial complex enterprises, military and space communications centers, as well as enemy naval vessels. The operations of a number of leading Russian oil refineries have been halted or significantly curtailed, the press service reported.

“We are summarizing the results of the deep strikes in June 2026. Eleven Russian oil refineries, seven fuel logistics facilities, eight military plants, space communications centers, ships, and ferries were struck. [...] The maximum distance of a successful strike exceeded 2,000 km from Ukraine’s state border,” the press release states.

The agency’s website published a complete list of the occupiers’ facilities struck last month, as well as the consequences of the strikes. Some of them, in particular the Moscow Oil Refinery, have completely suspended oil refining for an indefinite period.

“We are systematically and purposefully reducing the enemy’s military and economic potential. We are forcing Russia to end the war,” the Ministry of Defense emphasized, noting in passing that in May, Ukraine used deep strikes to hit 18 facilities in the Russian oil refining and fuel logistics sectors, as well as four facilities belonging to the enemy’s military-industrial complex and chemical industry.
