Attack On Moscow: A Power Substation Is On Fire In Lyubertsy

Local residents are reporting power outages.

In Lyubertsy, Russia, located in the Moscow suburbs, a fire broke out at a power substation on Wednesday, July 1. Telegram monitoring channels are reporting heavy smoke, according to New Voice.

The Russian public group Astra reports that the 110 kV Kraskovo Substation No. 540, a branch of Rosseti’s Moscow Region—Southern Electric Networks, is on fire in Lyubertsy, near Moscow.

Some local residents are reporting power outages.

Earlier, a threat from UAVs was reported in the Moscow Region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin wrote about the “destruction” of six drones flying toward the Russian capital and the fall of “debris.”
