Minsk Residents Are Complaining About Internet Problems

We're talking about the A1 carrier.

Minsk residents are complaining on the social media platform Threads about the quality of service from the provider A1 and problems with renewing their contracts, as noted by the website Charter97.org.

“Is A1 giving anyone else trouble too? My cell service and internet are both a total nightmare. Especially at home. It’s just terrible—I live in Minsk. People can’t get through to me, I get missed call notifications, and the internet is constantly lagging,” - writes hobby_vitalina.

“A1 is just s***! The worst place to sign up for internet service. When you move and want to take the modem with you, you have to wait two weeks for your request to be approved! How am I supposed to work? I called to ask for solutions, but they didn’t offer me anything—they just told me to wait. I asked, ‘How am I supposed to work?’ 'Let me pay extra to speed up the service,'" complains dar_drive.

“What the hell kind of crappy internet is there in Minsk? Is there a provider that offers a stable connection of at least 100 Mbps?” — asks iintuiitiion.

“Every time I take the train, the only thing that drives me crazy is the terrible internet. Why does A1 show LTE if nothing loads? As for 3G—that means you’re completely out of range,” complains katyalagodich.

“My parents use Beltelecom; we use A1. The latter constantly freezes, cuts off the internet, and even interrupts phone calls. “Beltelecom” works without any interruptions, and they recently increased the speed to 200 Mb/s. The cost with “Beltelecom” is lower (we signed up during a promotion),” — writes vaiton_memorial.
