"No Diesel Fuel": Russian Farmer Levels Complaints Against The Kremlin

Recently, more and more farmers have been taking to social media to report that their crops are being left in the fields because they are unable to refuel their farm equipment, according to “Dialog”.

For example, in one of the published videos, a farmer shows a field of unharvested wheat and directly levels accusations at the Kremlin regime.

“We used to live our lives—growing bread, feeding our children. And now what? There’s no diesel fuel to harvest this wheat. We might as well go out with sickles, like in the old days. But we have everything we need for bombs and missiles,” says the video’s author.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Foreign Intelligence Service reported that the harvest campaign in Russia is significantly behind last year’s pace. The situation is most critical in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the Rostov Region, as well as in the Lipetsk, Voronezh, Tambov, and Sverdlovsk Regions, Bashkortostan, and Yakutia.

Small farms are being hit hardest by the fuel crisis.
