On the afternoon of July 18, Russian forces launched missile strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in the Odesa region. There are fatalities and injuries. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration Oleg Kipper.
According to him, an enemy missile struck an amusement park, destroying fishermen’s cottages and damaging six passenger cars.
“According to preliminary data, unfortunately, two people were killed and four others were injured, including a child. There may still be people trapped under the rubble. The search and rescue operation is ongoing,” the official said.
He noted that in another town, a residential building and two passenger cars were damaged as a result of the shelling. One person was injured.
“All relevant services are working at the scenes of the incidents. Information on the consequences is being verified,” Kipper added.
