The Russian Z-channel “Lokator Rossii” reported the death of its administrator Vladimir Tikhonov, who fought against Ukraine with the rank of senior lieutenant. The channel’s report states that Tikhonov, known by the call sign “Tikhiy,” was killed on the night of July 18 while returning from a combat mission, according to “Dialog”.

“Senior Lieutenant Vladimir Andreevich Tikhonov, administrator of the ‘Lokator Rossii’ channel, was tragically killed in the Special Military Operation zone. This occurred on the night of July 18, 2026, as the officer was returning from a combat mission,” the publication states.

In the published photo, Tikhonov is standing in front of a Russian “Pantsir” anti-aircraft missile and gun system.
