Lukashenko Was Outraged That It Would Take As Many As Two Decrees To Build A New Plant In Belarus

In his 33rd year in power, the dictator turned against the very system he had created.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed his indignation at a meeting on July 24 that it would take as many as two of his decrees to build a new plant in the country. BelTA provides the details.

According to the dictator, the implementation of investment projects abroad is not proceeding as quickly as necessary, and he outlined exactly what is hindering progress.

Lukashenko cited his own internal sluggishness, bureaucracy, and lack of discipline:

“We create made-up problems for ourselves, which we then heroically struggle with for months.”

One example is the situation with the new pulp mill project in the Vitebsk region.

“It turns out we need as many as two presidential decrees: the first—to literally clear the construction site of old investors, and the second—to launch the new investment project. “It doesn’t matter if it’s two or one—just get it done,” the usurper declared.

Lukashenko called out the officials who have been going around in circles for months now, while the project remains at a standstill.
