Kyrgyzstan Has Required Airlines To Make Announcements On Flights In Kyrgyz

This requirement applies to foreign carriers as well.

Kyrgyzstan has required all airlines operating flights to, from, and within the country to provide in-flight announcements to passengers in the Kyrgyz language, according to a report on the Telegram channel "Kyrgyzstan Airport" AAK.

The requirement also applies to foreign carriers operating international flights to the country. Previously, in-flight announcements were primarily made in English, Russian, and the language of the country of departure.

Safety instructions and emergency procedures, as well as information regarding takeoff, landing, and other necessary announcements, must be provided in the Kyrgyz language. Their content must fully correspond to the announcements in other languages.

Airline executives have been instructed to prepare official texts of announcements in Kyrgyz and to use them on all flights subject to the new regulations.
