The President of Ukraine and the Prime Minister of Poland discussed investments, air defense, and other topics.

Today, July 29, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the Polish prime minister. They discussed investments in Ukraine, cooperation in the field of air defense, and other topics.

“We held a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Lublin. We discussed many bilateral issues, including the historical dialogue between our countries. I spoke about our diplomatic efforts in Washington,” the head of state noted.

The President of Ukraine added that he discussed defense cooperation with the Polish politician, as well as priority issues regarding the protection of Ukrainian cities and communities from Russian attacks.
“Ballistic missile defense is a key priority. The security and defense of Ukraine also mean the security and defense of Poland. Our cooperation strengthens both our region and all of Europe,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

According to him, they also discussed separately the security challenges facing Ukrainians. The head of state emphasized that citizens who have fled to Poland due to the war must feel safe.

“We also discussed Polish investments in Ukraine, cooperation in the field of missile defense, and support for Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggressor,” Tusk said.
