Belarusian Banks Are Introducing New Changes Regarding Bank Cards

It has been announced what changes are in store for customers.

Some banks have introduced new changes regarding their cards. "Zerkalo" explains in detail what is changing for their customers.

Starting July 29, Neo Bank Asia implemented changes to checking accounts linked to cards. It stipulated that it will close these accounts no later than “the banking day following the expiration of 30 calendar days from the date the application is received.”

Starting September 1, “Belagroprombank” will change the fees for certain card services. This will affect, among other things, checking account balances at ATMs of other financial institutions, as well as unblocking a card after entering an incorrect PIN three times.

Starting August 31, Belgazprombank will adjust the interest rates it charges on checking accounts held by individuals to which cards are linked.

Technobank has added new partners for its “Healthy Lifestyle” card. Among them are Valhalla Gym Club, LeFit fitness studio, Hero Park trampoline arena, and Good LAK beauty salon.

Sber Bank announced that it will update its terms of service for individual customers starting August 24. There are also changes regarding credit cards. “The rights and responsibilities of the parties regarding cash withdrawals using accounts and cards, including those in foreign currency, have been clarified,” the financial institution reports.
