The Ukrainian Armed Forces Shot Down A Russian Plane

Russia has already lost 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters.

On Wednesday, July 8, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that it had shot down a Russian aircraft. The statement does not specify which aircraft was involved.

“Good news from the Air Force! Today we took down yet another ✈️ Russian aerial terrorist!” the statement reads.

On July 4, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported that a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet was destroyed at the Belbek airfield during a strike on annexed Crimea on June 26.

As of July 8, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost against Ukraine, 436 aircraft and 353 helicopters.
