The media has uncovered new details.

On the drone carrying explosives, which attacked a Ukrainian cargo plane at Leipzig Airport in Germany, DNA traces were found that had previously been recorded in Lithuania. The owner has not yet been identified, according to Die Zeit.

According to Die Zeit, the biological material found on the drone matched DNA that had previously been recorded in Lithuania.

However, the publication does not specify under what circumstances this trace was discovered there or whether a specific individual has been identified.

At this time, there is no confirmation that the discovery has enabled investigators to identify the perpetrators or those who ordered the attack.

Die Zeit also reports that Ukrainian aircraft at Leipzig Airport were not carrying ammunition at the time of the incident.

This information contradicts earlier reports by WDR, NDR, and Süddeutsche Zeitung. Citing a confidential police document, they claimed that one of the An-124s was loaded with ammunition.

According to Die Zeit, the German Ministry of the Interior privately refuted this information.
