Details have emerged circumstances surrounding the death of the legendary Belarusian freestyle coach Nikolai Kozeko, reports betnews.by. He died on August 10 at the age of 76, having fallen into a brief coma prior to his death.

Before his death, the coach had an accident at his dacha. Kozeko was working there when he fell and lost consciousness. After that, his condition deteriorated rapidly, and he fell into a coma.

Despite the efforts of medical professionals, Nikolai Kozeko did not recover from the coma. His body was unable to cope with the consequences of his injuries.

Nikolai Kozeko was one of the most famous and distinguished freestyle coaches not only in Belarus but also worldwide. His students have won eight Olympic medals, including four gold medals.
