The Airborne Forces Conducted An Offensive In The Aleksandrovsky Sector

Ukraine's Airborne Assault Forces provided details offensive in the Oleksandrivka direction and provided a list of settlements liberated since late January.

It is noted that the offensive operation has been underway since January 29 and continues to the present in accordance with the operational plan under overall military command.

In particular, during the offensive operation, control has been regained over more than 745 square kilometers of territory and 26 settlements (12 in the Dnipropetrovsk region, 10 in the Donetsk region, 4 in the Zaporizhzhia region), and enemy forces that had infiltrated the rear area were located and neutralized across an area of more than 300 square kilometers. Specifically:

Military units and subunits of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken control of the following settlements: Tolstoy, Novokhatskoye, Grushevskoye, Zirka, Zeleny Gai, Poddubne, Mirne, Tsehelne, Pryvolye, Zlagoda, Krasnogorskoye, Pryvolne, Novogrigorovka, Stepnoye, Kalinovskoye, Berezovoye, Novonikolaevka, Voskresenka, Aleksandrograd, and Yalta.

Military units and subunits of the Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have taken control of the following settlements: Rybne, Maliivka, Sichneve, Ternove, Novogeorgievka, and Zaporozhskoe.

It is noted that the success of the operation was made possible by careful planning at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels, the effective work of the headquarters and all types of intelligence, the continuous collection and analysis of information on the enemy, the high-quality training of personnel, the skillful organization of fire support, logistical support, and precise coordination among all components of the task force.

The strike force is composed primarily of units from the Airborne Assault Forces, which, together with assault force units and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, successfully breached the enemy’s defenses, broke their resistance, and accomplished their combat missions.

It is noted that Ukrainian soldiers are currently continuing to consolidate the success of the offensive operation and methodically destroy the combat potential of the Russian occupation forces.
