The situation in Russia is entering a turbulent phase.
This fall, immediately after the elections, Russia will see a new wave of mobilization. And this event could set in motion irreversible processes, after which the Russian Federation will no longer be the same.
A well-known Russian Z-blogger, the “angry patriot” Maksim Kalashnikov, as reported by Dialog.UA.
He noted that, according to rumors, the Kremlin will carry out a mobilization without any official announcement in two stages.
The first will take place in late October–early November, and the second in the spring. The goal is to recruit about 500,000 new soldiers. The authorities will not touch Moscow, St. Petersburg, or the national autonomous regions, which “do not understand” this war and could revolt.
“This is a new phase of a systemic crisis. For such an operation—which coincides with the peak of problems regarding budget revenues and fuel supplies—will require extremely painful economic measures. Moreover, the regions will develop intense animosity toward the Moscow metropolitan area, St. Petersburg, and the autonomous republics. In some ways, this will replicate the atmosphere in the Soviet Union in 1990–1991. Dangerous tensions are also possible within the armed forces,” Kalashnikov wrote.
He expressed doubt that a new mobilization would help Russia win the war. “Modern wars are not won by massing infantry... Otherwise, the ‘Magyar’ lads will reap a bountiful haul. Remember the enemy’s plans to wipe out our infantry with drones? Up to 50,000 a month? In short, we’re entering a dangerous period. A turbulent one,” the Z-blogger stated.
