The General Staff Of The Armed Forces Of Ukraine Reported A Strike On An Oil-loading Complex In Yeysk

The Ukrainian military launched a strike on the seaport in Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai, damaging fuel and lubricant tanks at the oil loading complex, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As noted in the statement, the facility is involved in supplying the Russian army. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
The governor of the Krasnodar Region Veniamin Kondratyev previously reported an attack by Ukrainian drones on the Yeisk District. According to him, one drone crashed in a residential area. “Debris from the UAV also landed on a facility located within the port grounds. They are currently putting out a fire there,” he wrote on Telegram.
The Yeisk Oil Loading Complex is part of the infrastructure of the Seaport of Yeisk and handles the receipt, storage, and shipment of petroleum products to maritime transport. The port’s cargo terminals have a throughput capacity of approximately 6.8 million metric tons per year, of which liquid cargo, including petroleum products, accounts for more than 1 million metric tons annually.
