A Satellite Captured A Fire At An Ozon Warehouse In Dagestan

This is one of the marketplace's largest warehouses.

Satellite images have appeared online showing a fire at following a drone attack on the Ozon marketplace distribution center near Makhachkala. The images were published by the Russian service “Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty”.

The photos show that a significant portion of the facility, which covers more than 130,000 square meters, has already burned down. This is one of the marketplace’s largest warehouses, built last year.

Russian media reported that, amid the fire, OZON’s shares on the Moscow Exchange fell by 28% on Monday morning.

It was reported the day before that on the night of August 24, drones attacked logistics centers belonging to the Russian marketplace Ozon in the Stavropol Krai, Adygea, and Dagestan. Fires broke out at the facilities.
