13 Missiles Destroyed Russian Command Posts In Donetsk

The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out five missile strikes.

On August 26 and during the night of August 27, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key Russian military targets, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to the agency’s statement, both the main and backup enemy command posts in the Donetsk area were hit by air-launched missiles.

In addition, a repair and restoration unit of the occupying forces was struck in the Chongar area of the Kherson region, and a drone control center was struck in Olenevka in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

The General Staff also reported strikes on enemy troop concentrations—specifically, in the Novopetrovka area of the Zaporizhzhia region and the Voskhod area of Crimea.

In addition, analysis of additional data confirmed the results of an earlier strike: On August 25, a strike was carried out against the “Afipsky” oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, resulting in damage to the ELOU AT processing unit, the gas fractionation unit, and a section of the pipeline.

Earlier, the website Charter97.org reported that on August 26, the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk came under a large-scale attack. According to reports circulating online, 13 “Flamingo” missiles were fired at the city.

Telegram monitoring channels recorded strikes in several areas of the city at once—according to their information, the “Donetsk-City” district bore the brunt of the attacks. There were also reports of explosions near the train station and the “Donbass Arena” stadium.

According to preliminary data, there were at least five missile strikes, which may have been followed by another wave of explosions.
