An Oil Terminal Caught Fire In Sevastopol

The Russian occupiers are trying to cover up the fact.

Ukrainian defense forces carried out airstrikes against military and strategic targets of the Russian occupiers in annexed Crimea. As a result, an oil terminal in Sevastopol was damaged, according to Dialog.UA after monitoring social media.

The Russian occupation administration declared an air raid alert in Crimea on August 28 at 12:36 a.m. Shortly thereafter, the first explosions were heard in various areas of the peninsula. Russian air defense forces attempted to shoot down Ukrainian UAVs, but were unsuccessful.

During the night powerful explosions were heard near the Belbek airfield, where fighter jets of the Russian Federation’s occupying army are based. The results of these strikes are not yet known.

In addition, residents of occupied Sevastopol heard several explosions during the night. It is reported that there was a strike in the area of the port in Kamyshovaya Bay.

The “governor” of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev initially acknowledged that the oil terminal had been hit. He stated that “a UAV strike was recorded on old storage tanks that contained no active fuel.” According to him, the tanks on Bratyev Manganari Street allegedly contained only “technical residues.”

Later, the “Gauleiter” claimed that it was not the oil tanks on Manganari Brothers Street that were on fire, but supposedly “grass nearby.”

Earlier, it became known that Russia’s air defense forces had caused a disaster in the area of occupied Yalta.
