Sikorsky: Putin Has Already Made Promises To President Biden’s CIA Director
Radosław Sikorski

Poland viewed the CIA negotiations in Moscow as a reason to strengthen its defenses.

Negotiations by the CIA director in Moscow were viewed in Poland as a pretext to step up defense efforts. Warsaw pointed out that Russia had already made a promise not to attack prior to its invasion of Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to a statement by Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in K.

Russia’s assurances that it will not attack NATO should not be trusted. Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski responded to this while commenting on reports of the CIA director’s talks in Moscow.

According to him, Putin’s spies apparently told the CIA director that he would not provoke NATO. The politician recalled that the Kremlin had already made similar assurances on the eve of a full-scale invasion.

“Putin told President Biden’s CIA director that he would not invade Ukraine,” Sikorski noted.

Against this backdrop, the head of Polish diplomacy called for accelerating defense preparations.

As a reminder, this week, CIA Director John Ratcliffe made a secret visit to Moscow—according to media reports, he warned Russia against attacking NATO. Subsequently, the Kremlin confirmed Ratcliffe’s talks with Russian intelligence services.
