Axios: Whitcoff And Kushner Plan To Achieve A Breakthrough In The Negotiations

Trump's special envoys want to work with Kyiv and Moscow on an "updated" peace proposal.

U.S. President’s Special Envoys Steve Whitcroft and Jared Kushner told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that they want to achieve a breakthrough in the negotiations before winter. This was reported by Axios citing a source.

Today, Mr. Whitcoff and Mr. Kushner arrived in Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian officials regarding the conflict with Russia. According to the publication’s sources, during the meeting, Mr. Zelenskyy discussed with the American side Ukraine’s preparations for continuing military operations during the winter.

An Axios source who participated in the talks said the meetings “went well.” According to the source, Kushner and Whitcoff want to work with the parties on an “updated” peace proposal.
