Belarusian pensioner beat up mayor of the city by walking stick

In the town of Vysokae Brest region a pensioner Viktor Kasyanau beat up the mayor of the local administration because of runarounds sent to him by local authorities.

When the 76-year-old Kasyanau came to the mayor of the city Leanid Biryuk and understood that his problem is not solved again, he started to beat the official with a walking stick. The official’s secretary came running when hearing the noise. Policemen were called out immediately, Narodnaya Volya informs.

As a result, a criminal action has been opened. It was tried one of these days. Viktar Kasyanau wasn’t punished. Doctors found that the elderly man who rushed at the mayor and thrashed him, was in the heat of passion.
