Christian democrats banned to hold anti-crisis pickets

It was planned to organize pickets near Kamarouski market and the Park of People’s Friendship on April 25.

As the press service of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party told BelaPAN, the Minsk city executive committee denied holding anti-crisis pickets to the party.

The applicants got refusal because the pickets may hinder transport traffic in the district of the Park of People’s Friendship and distance from Kamarouski market to the nearest pedestrian subway is less than 200 meters.

It should be reminded that the BCD party announced action “Our Response to Crisis” on April 20. The aim of the campaign, which is to be held on April 21–25 in 30 Belarusian towns, is to “call on the Belarusian society to unite for tackling the economic crisis”.

Teh slogan of the campaign is “Saving, Charity, Liberalization”.
