Please take care of such guys like Hans-Gert Poettering. The debate on the Eastern Partnership between the European Parliament and the EU Commission happend FOUR DAYS before the EU Foreign Minister Council and EIGHT DAYS before the final decision of the EU Council. This means, that Mister Poettering showed absolutely no initative for a CRITICAL DIALOGUE about Belarus in connection with the EaP.
ReplyThe Eastern Partnership was decided without the proposals of the EU parliament resolution of 07.01.2009. Poettering did not claim, that the proposals of the resolutions have to respected by the EU Council.
The German Poettering was doing everything for to avoid critical discussion about Belarus, before the EaP-contract was signed in Prague.
