Milinkevich: “Authorities change – more educated people are coming”

In such a manner the leader of the For Freedom movement commented on retirement of Uladzimir Sauchanka, the chairman of the Hrodna region executive committee.

The authorities change, though these changes may seem not obvious. Analysis shows that another generation is coming to power in the country and in regions. More educated people are coming,” Alyaksandr Milinkevich told in an interview to Radio Racyja.
We remind that Alyaksandr Lukashenka satisfied the request of Uladzimir Sauchanka, the chairman of the Hrodna region executive committee, to resign him from office. Sauchanka asked for resignation on the grounds of poor health and asked to transfer him to another job with a reduced workload.
The chairman’s duties will be temporarily fulfilled by the first deputy chairman of the Hrodna region executive committee, Ivan Zhuk. The appointment of the new head of the Hrodna region will be made in due order in the near future.
Uladzimir Sauchanka has been head of the Hrodna region executive committee since March 29, 2001.
