Dalia Grybauskaite: Guarantor of stability in Belarus is people of the country

President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite said she would cooperate with the president elected by the people of Belarus.

“I think the main guarantor of stability in Belarus is the Belarusians themselves, the people of Belarus. We will trust the person they will elect and cooperate with him. This is the decision of the people of Belarus,” the president said during her visit to historic places historical sites of struggling for independence in Radviliskis, Lithuanian news agency ELTA informs.

Earlier Reuters spread information with reference to diplomatic sources quoting Dalia Grybauskaite’s positive estimation of the Belarusian dictator. “Lukashenka is a guarantor of economic and political stability in Belarus as well as the country’s indolence. We wouldn’t like our neighbour to become a second Russia,” Reuters quotes Dalia Grybauskaite.
