Demands to release Alyaksandr Atroshchankau heard in Warsaw

On March 1, on the day when the trial over the spokesperson of the civil campaign “European Belarus” Alyaksandr Atroshchankau started, a rally of solidarity with political prisoners.

Pasrticipants of the picket were holding portraits of Atroshchankau and other political prisoners, the press-service of “European Belarus” informs.

“After the peaceful rally on December 19 2010 dozens of people are held in prisons, they face long prison terms just for their position and views. Among them are the journalist and spokesperson of “European Belarus” campaign Alyaksandr Atroshchankau. The trial over him is held today. We demand to restore justice in Belarus and release all political prisoners!” said one of the participants of the rally.
