Ivan Shyla, Young Front member, was detained in front of PEN Center office in Minsk.

Such a Facebook post appeared on the page of Anastasiya Palazhanka, chairperson of the Young Front.

“He left the building, a car with riot policemen drove up and got him inside,” Anastasiya Palazhanka informs.

The award-giving ceremony of “I Love Belarus” prize founded by the Young Front is to start at 5 p.m. in the office of Belarusian PEN Centre. This year the award is given for the third time.
