“Ski track” held according usual scenario (Photo)

During the winter sporting event “Minsk Ski Track -2012” Lukashenka’s team was first as usual. It took part in the ski relay race 4x2.5 km alongside with the teams of regions and Minsk city.

Lukashenka’s team has taken part in the race out of competition, BelTA reports.

The team of Brest regional executive committee was the first in competition, Mahilyou region’s team was the second, and the third position was taken by Minsk regional executive committee team.

In the ski relay race among the teams of defence and law-enforcing agencies (Group B), the winners were the following: the State Customs Committee was the first, the Defence Ministry team was the second, and the KGB was the third.

Besides, teams of republican state agencies and state organizations (groups C and D) took part in the race.

The team of the National Bank was the winner in the relay race 4X2.5 km in which higher state Officials took place. The State Control Committee was the second, and the Prosecutor general’s Office was the third.

In an analogous relay race among the teams of agencies of state administration, organizations subordinate to the Council of Ministers, head bank organizations, the team of Agriculture ministry finished first. The Sports and Tourism team was the second, and the Communications and Information Ministry was the third.

Communicating with journalists, Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted that he had most favourable impressions about the sporting festival. He stressed however that Minsk Ski Track has become a country-wide holiday, as teams from the regions of Belarus have taken part in the holiday. “Barys Batura, Kanstantsin Sumar, who were among the winners, are great guys. It shows that one’s age is not a hindrance for sports, on the contrary,” the dictator believes.
